The beautiful Afandina and her sister ship, the Hadeel, are two of the traditional sailing Dahabiyas of the Nile. This is a cruise that offers peace and calm and memories of a world long ago when we all travelled at a slower pace. Using the power of the wind you pass villages and scenes unchanged for centuries. When the wind falls an accompanying tug boat is there to make sure that you visit all the sites promised on the itinerary.
The Afandina can accommodate up to 16 guests. There are 3 double bed cabins and 5 twin bed cabins, making this the perfect size for family groups. Celebration parties are catered for, so if you have that ‘Big’ Birthday or Wedding Anniversary coming up, why not make it extra special. We often have groups of like-minded friends who want to get away from the larger, faster, noisier cruisers on the Nile.
Each Afandina cabin has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, TV and mini bar. There is an internet connection so you can stay in touch while travelling. The cruise is full board throughout and can be joined in Luxor or Aswan. One of our top guides can accompany you to all the archaeological sites that you will be able to visit from your floating hotel.
